ABC Buys Comedy Starring Ashley Tisdale

EXCLUSIVE: Secondary School Musical alumna Ashley Tisdale has offered a semi-autobiographical comedy project to ABC which will be executive produced by Warren Littlefield. Tisdale is positioned to star in and co-executive produce the multi-camera project, titled Being Built, that's inspired by her existence and concentrates on a young lady whose independence is determined on hold when she's expected to move home while her father renovates her recently bought money pit along with her existence. David Holden (Accidentally Intentionally) will write the script and co-executive produce. Also co-executive creating are Tisdale and her partner Jessica Rhoades through their Blondie Girl Prods. and Tom Forman for RelativityREAL where Blondie Girl features a development deal. By using their deal, Blondie Girl has other projects inside the works, including unscripted series Miss Advised, in production at Bravo. This marks returning for the multi-camera comedy genre for Tisdale, who started off on Disney Funnel’s multi-camera sitcom The Suite Information On Zack And Cody. Tisdale rose to fame one of the stars of Disney Funnel’s mega-hit Secondary School Musical, which segued for the silver screen. Tisdale, repped by CAA and manager Bill Perlman, is constantly voice figures on Disney Funnel’s animated hit Phineas And Ferb and recently executive produced and starred inside the funnel’s HSM spinoff movie Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure. She also starred round the CW drama Hellcats last season. That is CAA-repped Holden’s second purchase at ABC this season. His family/dating comedy The Singles showed up a script plus penalty commitment within the network in August.
