The new sony nabs privileges to Silva thriller
The new sony Pictures Worldwide Purchases has pre-bought all media privileges towards the Sebastian Silva's untitled thriller starring Michael Cera, Juno Temple, Emily Browning and Catalina Sandino Moreno, that was formerly referred to as "Miracle Miracle."Pic is written and directed by Silva, whose film "The Maid" won the Grand Jury prize at Sundance and was nominated for the best Foreign Film in the Golden Globes.Mental thriller follows a youthful American lady (Temple) travelling together with her buddies inside a remote a part of Chile, who starts to psychologically solve and makes its way into into an enormous amount of disturbing landscapes and crushing terror.The film is created by Frida Torresblanco ("Pan's Labyrinth") of Braven Films, also is fully financing the film. Killer Films' Christine Vachon can also be creating with Mike Whitened and David Bernad of Rip Cord Prods. Pic is skedded to begin production at the begining of 2012.Deal is made by SPWA's professional Vice president of economic matters Michael Helfand and purchases director Lejo Pet, together with John O'Shea and Laura Ivey from the Exchange, in addition to UTA's Wealthy Klubeck, Bec Cruz and Jacqui Schock. The Exchange is selling all worldwide areas from the film together with Marina Fuentes of 6 Sales.SPWA presently has privileges towards the pic within the U.S. and Canada, in addition to worldwide areas including South America, Scandinavia, Nigeria and Eastern Europe.
