Moneyball & Dolphin Tale just behindIt's still hakuna matata completely up from the box-office for that Lion King three dimensional a few days ago, as Disney's re-problem acquired another believed $22m for that top place. Since its all-time US gross now stands at $390m, it's headed for any place within the all-time top also it rejected only 27% on a week ago, expect that original two-week release window to become extended just a little to let it pass the $400m mark.Just behind Disney's feline furball would be the new records: baseball-stats drama Moneyball, with $20.6m, and amputee animal movie Dolphin's Tale, with $20.3m. Other new releases Abduction, the Rachelle Lefervre starring thriller (so focus on the "ab" not the "duction"), and JasonStatham in Killer Elite, did less well, with £11.2m and $9.5m correspondingly.Rounding the top are Contagion ($8.6m), Drive ($5.8m), The Assistance ($4.4m), Hay Dogs($2.1m) and IDon'tKnow How She Will It ($2.1m).For additional details and figures that you could sabermetric for your hearts content, mind on to Box Office Mojo for that full chart.
